Dear Devyser network, partners, and valued customers,
In the spring of 2023, we established our laboratory in Atlanta, Georgia, and received CLIA certification from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in May. This was swiftly followed by our first patient test.
Today, I am delighted to announce that our laboratory will be rebranded as "Devyser Genomic Laboratories.” This name ties Devyser to our laboratory service offering, and our commitment to delivering accurate test results with rapid turnaround times.
During the last few months, our partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific has evolved to enable them to promote the services of Devyser Genomic Laboratories directly to pharmaceutical companies.
Devyser Genomic Laboratories will now focus on two key areas:
1. Providing patients and physicians access to novel laboratory developed tests
2. Providing laboratory services to pharmaceutical companies using our own assays
With the global network and extensive reach of Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are well-positioned to provide simple, fast, and accurate testing solutions to pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
This perfectly aligns with our strategy to expand our presence in the United States and signifies a step forward in realizing our vision for Devyser to facilitate precision medicine through molecular diagnostic testing.
Our collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific extends beyond the laboratory. In April 2023, we entered into a collaboration and distribution agreement, granting Thermo Fisher Scientific exclusive rights to commercialize our post-transplant NGS portfolio in North America and Europe, under combined branding. In September we further expanded this agreement to also include the Brazilian market.
With the creation of Devyser Genomic Laboratories and our expanded collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, we mark a new chapter in the journey of Devyser. With these expansions, we are excited to make an ever-greater impact with our innovative testing solutions.
